Straight Flush, August 2023, Photograph, 4/C
While toilets may not be something normally photographed, this empty string of urinals provided an image of symmetry, oddness, and humor. Additionally, the muted tones of the bathroom made it possible to shoot a “black and white” photograph in color.

The Living Gallery, March 2023, Photograph, 4/C
This picture expresses and encompasses raw, uncontained, teenage energy. It also depicts a level of tolerance and unity among racially diverse individuals. They have each other’s back, regardless of….

Summer Knight, July 2023, Photograph, 4/C
A captured moment of my friend Charlie as we explore the streets of Coney Island on a hot summer night. Careless, carefree, curious, wanderers looking for an adventure. I like how the gas station in the back gives the picture dimension and a cool glow.

Numbing The Truth, November 2023, Photograph, 4/C
A single man stands in Times Square, where the hustle and bustle of the streets muffles reality. His glance is fixed on something far away, as he smoked his joint in one of the busiest neighborhoods of the world.

Up To 11, November 2023, Photograph, 4/C
An exploration in depth and colors to show the beauty of a guitar’s details while highlighting the fundamental socket that is its life-line.

All Along the Fretboard, November 2023, 4/C
An uncommon take on a person playing a Fender guitar. This assignment asked us to take a photograph for commercial use. This perspective artistically showcases the brand in a subtle and realistic manner.

The Future is Now, January 2023, 4/C Photograph “Scholastic Key Award” winner for Excellence in Photography, New York City Scholastic Art & Writing contest. Photo was my Junior-year project for my photography fellowship at SALT NYC. This is a portrait of a music cassette I found crushed on the street. I noticed the cassette's fractures, scratches, and wear and immediately felt it reflected a life beyond its prime. But the object revived through my lens into something cool and beautiful.

Sunset In November, November 2022, Photograph, 4/C
The evening sun peeked through the city buildings, highlighting this portion of a shaded building. The contrast of darks of the building with the pales of the sky remind me of a painting by Edward Hopper.

Junkyard Grass, May 2023, Photograph, 4/C
A light shining on a junkyard in Brooklyn unveils a diamond in the rough. The light shines an eerily calm glow, and highlights the beauty hidden everywhere.

Gritty City, April 2022, Photograph, 4/C
I wanted to capture beauty hidden in the grittiness of an urban backyard. I saw a delicate fire escape and brick pattern side by side with the roughness of concrete and rust.

Leaving the Nest, June 2023, Photograph, 4/C
A teen coming of age, contemplates his future away from home. He stands on one side of the bridge, like a baby bird perched before leaving the nest, and looks at the path leading to his future.

Racial Profiling, October 2022, 4/C
I shot this portrait as a stark image against a soft abstract background for dimension. The highlight on his nose gives him humanity and some depth. I wanted to express moodiness or discomfort, almost as if he were the subject of an interrogation, or awaiting bad news.

On The Edge, April 2023, Photograph, 4/C
This unique view, above the crowds and cars, uncovers a beautiful building. But its interesting details remain unnoticed, even from a rooftop across the street, because it’s competes with a cell phone.
